's channel to read the whole thing:“Gotcha,” she giggled and pulled back to stare at him, Sonic found himself fascinated with her magenta eyes, managing to see through her bruises and tomboyishness to see the pretty mare inside and smiled back at her. “Tell you what Sonic, I promised to help Scootaloo with something later this afternoon, about five hours from now,” she began. “How long did it take me to fly to St. Trottersburg? Two hours and ten minutes? If you help shave my time down some more, let’s say… there and back in under four hours,” she let her voice drop an octave and grow quite, forcing Sonic to focus her words, “let’s just say I’ll be in very very good mood. And when I’m in a very very good mood…I can be very very generous.”
“Four hours?” Sonic said with a cocky smile.
“Four hours,” she confirmed as she felt his hands find their way to her waist, “there and back,” she instructed him one more time as she rested her forehead against his and whispered, “Tick…tock.”
Suddenly, she felt herself get jerked upwards and flipped around as Sonic heaved her into the air and held her by stomach over his head. The distinct sounds of squealing rubber filled the air as Dash looked down and saw Sonic’s feet slipping against the ground from the awesome amount of torque he was creating with as his feet spun into a peel out.
“No fair!” she shouted over the commotion.
“What’s the matter? You never heard of a head start?” Sonic shot back merrily.
“All right then!” Dash chuckled as she smiled with amusement at his enthusiasm. It may have been cheating, but considering the incentive, she couldn’t blame him and figured she let him carry her far enough so he could meet his deadline. “Let’s go!” she cheered as she spread her wings, posing with one foreleg extended, and one foreleg cocked back just as Sonic achieved traction, and in a terrific burst of speed, the two were off, a deafening sonic boom that echoed throughout the outskirts of Ponyville in their wake.
